Chanel SS 2016
"So how much for a one way ticket to Chanel?"
Since New York Fashion Week is now so last week, all eyes were on Paris Fashion Week. And today, all eyes were on Chanel. Staged to be in a scene of an airport terminal, with of course hot male model flight attendants. Karl Lagerfeld completely transformed the Grand Palais into a work of art for his show. The show even carried on the theme of an airport into the designs of the clothing worn and accessories (seen below) in order to capture the whole picture. Edie Campbell, popular English model, opened the show and other models that were featured included Miss Kendall Jenner, Avery Blanchard, and Lexi Boling.
Aside from the runway flowing with suits and dresses, were Velcro platform sandals that lit up as well as think galaxy-vibe aviator glasses worn by many of the models. The look for Chanel 2016 Spring, was more of a looser and more sophisticated styles and designs. When I look at most of the outfits worn I would do anything to jet set off in them. Aside from dreaming of walking down that runway, I would be even happy to sit in the audience next to Cara DeLevingne, Lily-Rose Depp, and hey even Lagerfeld's godson, Hudson, who happens to be taking Chanel kids by a storm.
