Fall 2015 Street Style

Fall is coming right around the corner, and it's time to start opening the bins of the boxes labeled "Fall" and "Winter". Also it's time to not feel ashamed for always wanting to hold around that precious cup of hot Starbucks (PSL anyone?) It's my favorite time of the year because I can break out the scarves and not feel weird wearing head to toe black. So, from getting to explore the variety of trends around my campus and on the street, I have decided to come up with some popular items that girls all around the city are labeling as a "must wear".

1. High Waisted Pants

High Waisted shorts are out and pants are in! Pair your high waisted pants with a sleek blouse, Cropped blouse, or a turtle neck just in time to stay warm in the fall while looking chic and module.


2.Turtlenecks

Turtlenecks have been around forever and it is finally time to bring them back, Turtlenecks range from all kinds of cuts and styles to fit your personal look! They are sleek and scream cold weather! (plus they keep your neck warm!) You can find celebrities like the Kardashians, Gwen Stefani, and on the runway from Fall NYFW.

3. Autumn hues, cream, taupe, & moss green

Aside from popular clothes for Fall 2015, here are some colors that slap Fall in the face, after Kanye West YEEZY Season 2 hit the runway at NYFW, I realized that simple and dedicate colors like beige, cream and ivory, really should be in the color hue category for this season. Pairing an outfit with similar hues is becoming more and more of a sensation and gives off a warm look without looking as if you tried to hard to match.

4. Thigh High Boots

Thigh high boots have been around for awhile, I would always see them in my favorite department stores, but just never being bought. But now, I have been seeing them worn more and more and of course, I neeed to get some! You can pair thigh high boots with your favorite short dress, denims, leggings, or that cute new flowy skirt you just bought! They give off a sense of height, with a sexy edge!

5.Bandana Scarf

As of Fall 2014, Infinity scarves were quite the hit! But after NYFW, Bandana scarves have seeped their way through the runway and now on the streets, it gives off that street style look with a little music festival touch to it, seeing as they were a popular trend featured at Coachella and many other events! Pair your favorite bandana scarf with that loose t-shirt or your favorite outerwear.
